Sometimes I wonder if leaving Kansas was a good idea after all. Maybe if I’d given it more of a chance, I could have learned to like farming. I still can’t handle the whole idea of veal, though.
Silas has been running me ragged lately. I feel like my time could be better spent elsewhere, rather than running errands for him and otherwise catering to his every whim. He takes me everywhere he goes now, though. He swears up and down it’s because Eddie told me he had to, but I think he’s finally starting to warm up to me. I don’t know if that’s a good thing.

Timing is Everything Harry opened the door to his apartment. He never pegged himself for the monogamous type, but after five years in an open relationship with Ben, he decided to put his promiscuity behind him. (Not to say Ben’s obvious qualms about the arrangement didn’t factor in.) The point was the arrangement was growing on him.Timing is Everything
He hung up his jacket and turned to find his partner a few feet away in the living area.
“Hey you,” he smiled pleasantly.
“Hi, Harry,” came the hesitant reply. Harry frowned as he groped in his jacket pocket for his cigarettes.
